It was in Bergen 6 years ago I red the ads in a local newspaper and as I was reading I came across an ad that said: "1957 Dodge Texan for sale", this triggered my curiosity.....What is this? Never heard of that model before....So I called the guy who had the car and asked him about the car. The following day I went out to have a look at the car, and just as the ad said...Dodge Texan....It was for real!! The guy wanted 10000 NKR ($1500) for it, and the deal was done...I bought the car in boxes!!
Now...6 years later the car is in progress of restoration.
I will pay tribute to my girlfriend Banaz for leting me continue on the project my ex didn't want me to finish.
Last summer I posted a 'for sale' ad on internet and it almost ended in a scam. The buyer sent me a false check, but I didn't fall for the 'I got a sick wife in hospital' scam. The poor sob didn't get a dime of my money...
